Trunk Show Saturday the 20th

5 designers will be bringing in their fall/holiday collections for one day only.
All clothing and shoes will be 15 percent off for the day.

Trunk Show News

Ok our big event is coming up quickly; That is the Trunk Show of Northwest Accessories Designers. If you havent received an invite consider this it! One day only, Saturday October 20th 11-5 at the store , We will have 5 local designers bringing in their entire fall holiday collections and setting them up on tables throughout the store. Many of them first time new designs never seen before. Also, we will be serving tea sandwiches, champagne and cupcakes. All clothing in store is 15 percent off. It will be a grand time. Featured this time are : Leilani Jensen, Crystalyn Kae handbags, Maria Carter Designs, Linda Danforth jewelry and Flora and Fawn jewelry. Vintage Creations New Items

Since I have been stuck home for almost a week from my kidney surgery , I have actually done a few creative things. Created some cashmere legwarmers for the shop $42- people have been requsting them...Created this new sassy tie neck cashmere top $78 and this funky sash belt from vintage fabrics and recycled leather $48

Oh boy..

Had a crazy day today , having some last minute surgery for a kidney stone. For those of you who know me well, you know that I have had kidney problems for 12 years. Why????Who knows.... they say maybe genetic.
so I can't sleep and am sitting here writing some thoughts down.
Been doing a lot of planning for my spring line- the core colors will be a bright yellow, fuschia, pale brown , navy with a bit of ivory. Will have 2 tshirt top styles, 1 ruffle blouse, a bubble style dress, a bib style sheath, a bubble skirt and a great tie front lightweight coat.
Also, am having some thoughts of opening another store- a 2nd store- along the same genre- mixing the best of indie and big box labels with a few unique twists plus my own line.

A new week

This has been an eventful week already. We have a new local designer and her line is Rika Rika. I am so excited about this line. I see a lot of clothing and I am truly amazed by her construction techniques, well fitting garments and creativity as well. Rika designs her own line, sews it as well and then embelishes with vintage kimono fabrics. What results is truly amazing, her construction rivals couture and her gift with color and texture truly shows. I am picturing 2 of the skirt styles below that we have in. There is a great a-line chocolate skirt with floral applique and my favorite , the grey wool straight skirt with the hummingird applique. Prices are great for these pieces- skirts are $95-$110 and tops are $90, stay tuned next week when we will receive 2 dress styles, the strapless I am predicting will be our bestselling holiday party dress.
